Objectives

Manage, coordinate, control and correct the daily operational work, service delivery and management of the company and restaurant.

Main tasks

  1. Is responsible for the practical organization, execution and control of activities.
  2. Supervises production/sales in consultation with the Director or Regional Manager:
    • coordinates and controls the execution of daily activities
    • ensures compliance with the guidelines related to production (kitchen activities), service delivery, quality
    • keeps the stock at the right level, places orders
    • provides friendly service to customers; is available to provide information to customers; handles complaints
  3. staff:
    • takes care of the work planning and the distribution of tasks
    • advises on selection and hiring
    • provides guidance and instructions, motivates and accompanies employees 4. Administration:
    • collects all necessary data for reporting to the management or the central department
    • Controls the flow of money (cash reports, validity of means of payment)
    • controls data on purchases, stock, invoices, losses, etc., according to internal guidelines
    • takes care of personnel administration

Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent by experience.
  • Successful experience of 2-5 years in a managerial position in the HORECA sector
  • Flexibility in terms of tasks and schedules
  • Born leader
  • Sense of priorities
  • Good oral and written communication in French and Dutch, English is a plus
  • Commercial attitude and administrative skills
  • Sets an example and coaches his team
