  • We had an absolutely fantastic lunch at Le Pré Catelan and went for the midday tasting menu. From start to finish, everything — the food, the service, the setting — was outstanding.

The langoustine in a foie gras-based sauce was hands-down our family’s favorite dish of the day (and maybe the entire trip). One of us insisted I write that it was so delicious he wanted to lick the plate — and to be honest, he kind of did. He wiped every last bit of sauce with bread, and even finished the small leftover on the kid’s plate. That’s how good it was.

The rest of the courses maintained the same high standard — full of flavor, beautifully plated, and satisfying without being heavy. The menu might be “lunch pricing,” but there’s absolutely nothing watered down about it. Both the presentation and the taste were full of creativity and refinement.

The dining room is elegant and peaceful, nestled inside a lovely park setting. Service was attentive yet relaxed, making the experience both luxurious and comfortable.

At €185 per person, the lunch menu feels like an act of generosity from a three-star restaurant. With wine, coffee, and a meal for two adults and one child, our bill came to just under €800 — and valet parking was available right at the door. Compared to many high-end spots in Paris, this felt not only memorable but fair.

We’re already talking about coming back to try the full tasting menu next time. Highly recommended — a true gem. – L Hui

  • 10 stars for service. The expectations for a 3 Michelin star may have been too high for this particular establishment. Out of 13 courses, we only loved 4 to 5 out of them. Mainly because some dishes were a bit too salty. I was expecting to be taken on a journey but instead it was an overall mediocre experienced and a bit traditional for our vibe. – Katrine DeGuzman
